A joint venture project, managed by Leo Alarie & Sons Construction Ltd. with partner Aecon Construction & Materials, completed construction of the first stretch of four-laning of Hwy 69, 10 km south of the four corners in Sudbury, southerly for 2.4 km, one year ahead of schedule. |

Project was located 30 km east of Chapleau Ontario and encompassed 21.8 km of restoration of Highway 101. 16 km was shave and pave, 5.8 km was new design, and also completed installation of 38 Centerline Culverts. |

Drilling and blasting of new road alignment on which a 5m high by 12m wide by 66m long multiplate culvert was assembled on poured-in-place concrete footings. It will serve as an underpass for the local traffic while PJV's Cat 785c 150-ton trucks are hauling ore from the new superpit. |

This project was part of the ongoing work to connect the divided Highway 11 corridor between Powassan and Huntsville. |
